Synergy of Effort as an Answer to the Challenges of Our Time

Abstract
Despite the fact that the global confrontation of irreconcilable ideologies and military-political blocs has virtually passed, the world is still suffering from wars and civil conflicts. People die, the fate breaks down, and the atmosphere is filled with the energy of evil and hatred. All continents burn with the fires of war and social and religious conflicts. The centers of human civilization are at risk. Endless terrorist attacks that take place in all corners of the world are the tragic evidence of that.
Our unequivocal conclusion is that unless there are radical changes in the minds of most people in the immediate future, at any moment the history of mankind may cease. We have every reason to say that the Human Mind is becoming more and more deadlocked. Modern civilization slowly but surely is sliding into a deep anthropological crisis. We all need to honestly and responsibly acknowledge that Humanity is ill not “physically” or even “mentally.” The Spirit refuses us. We suffer from profound disturbances of the Consciousness.
Such exceptionally complicated circumstances globally challenge the world community, and can only be overcome when a new worldview paradigm of human development and modern society will be created and implemented in the everyday life of mankind.
Such a megatask can only be accomplished when the great masses of people of goodwill will join it, with the active participation of specialists in various scientific fields. These specialists would be not only social scientists, psychologists and educators, but also physicists, mathematicians, biologists, cyberneticists, etc. We are absolutely convinced that if we unite the efforts of all people—their energy, intelligence, will, and desire—we will be able to make great and important things together. We will be able not only to preserve and strengthen peace on our planet but also make the lives of everyone living on it healthy, happy and undeniably safe.
And in all of this, we see a special role and mission of the Global Union of Scientists for Peace and all those honored people who represent and sincerely support it.
Cинергія зусиль як відповідь на виклики часу
Незважаючи на те, що глобальне протистояння непримиримих ідеологій і військово-політичних блоків практично відійшло у минуле, світ і досі потерпає від війн та громадянських конфліктів. Гинуть люди, калічаться долі, атмосфера наповнюється енергією зла та ненависті. На всіх континентах палають вогнища війн, соціальних та релігійних конфліктів. Під загрозою опинилися самі центри людської цивілізації. Нескінченні терористичні акти, які відбуваються у всіх куточках світу – тому трагічне свідоцтво.
Наш однозначний висновок полягає у тому, що якщо у свідомості більшості людей найближчим часом не відбудуться кардинальні зміни, у будь який момент історія людства може припинитися. У нас є всі підстави говорити про те, що Людський Розум все більше і більше заходить у глухий кут. Сучасна цивілізація, повільно але впевнено сповзає в глибоку антропологічну кризу. Всім нам необхідно чесно і відповідально визнати, що Людство хворіє не «фізично» і навіть не «психічно». Нам відмовляє Дух. Ми страждаємо від глибокого розладу Свідомості.
Такий надскладний стан речей ставить перед світовою спільнотою глобальні виклики, які можна подолати тільки за умов створення та впровадження в повсякденне життя людства нової світоглядної парадигми розвитку людини та сучасного суспільства.
Таке мега завдання можна виконати тільки тоді, коли до нього підключаться широкі маси людей доброї волі за активної участі фахівців самих різних наукових сфер. Це мають бути не лише суспільствознавці, психологи і педагоги, але і фізики, математики, біологи, кібернетики тощо. Ми абсолютно переконані, що розумно об’єднавши зусилля всіх людей, їх колективну енергію і інтелект, волю і бажання ми разом будемо спроможні зробити насправді великі і важливі речі. Ми зможемо не тільки зберегти та зміцнити мир на нашій планеті, але й обов’язково зробити життя кожного, хто на ній живе, здоровим, щасливим і безперечно безпечним.
І у всьому цьому ми вбачаємо особливу роль і місію Глобального Союзу Вчених за Мир і всіх тих шанованих людей, котрі його представляють і щиро підтримують.
